99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall...

Come on out August 13th to see The Free Press play at the Beer Festival @ the Historic Fort York in Toronto. Some of the festival organizers saw TFP play at NXNE and - because of the enigmatic performance - offered them a chance to play with up and coming bands like Wintersleep (currently on tour with Pilate) and Holy Fuck (come on, that's a GREAT name and a Blue Rodeo side project). Anyway, the boys intend to take several down, pass them around and then see what happens. We'd love it if you could join them.

Lots of things going on in TFPville. After successful shows in London, Ottawa, Sudbury, Sault St. Marie and Kitchener in the past month, the lads are looking forward to another handful of great shows coming up in July/August (Guelph, Toronto @ Lee's Palace!, Waterloo, Hamilton & Bala) before returning to the studio to continue work on their debut full-length record with the much-decorated producer, Rick Hutt.
