Do You Like Apples???

It is impossible to convey the Boston experience in the written form. I can describe the miles of beautiful, old, colonial housing and the imposing Fenway Park standing vigilantly downtown as well as the tranquil beauty of driving along a city dividing river that's crowded by skyscrapers and parks. But all of that means nothing unless you give it context. Give it colour. Give it sound. And the sound of which I speak is the Southie accent.
Nothing on the face of the earth sounds like the southie accent. It instantly lends a humorous quality to anything that is said. The show was good last night but it was my experience in the bathroom that made the night for me. I can't possibly do it justice here. As unfair as it is, you'll all have to wait and we'll do one of two things. 1. You can ask me when I get home to recount the story for you (which I'll happily do ad nauseum) or 2. I will make an audio recording when we have some free time in which I will play both Bostonians who had the conversation.
Apart from that, yesterday was all you'd expect after driving for 11 hours and then playing a rock and roll show. There was an incident involving Denny's and blowdarts, a peaceful hotel that's cozily situated beside a swamp and a major highway, some cursing of the Adirondack mountains for being in the f#*$!ng way, an accidental free-basing experience involving m&m's, the usual strangeness of a Walgreen's, a reunion with a few old friends and a sweaty show for a good sized crowd of thirsty Bostonians. Dig it.
